Meetings of Campania Wines and Flavours

Sorrento Peninsula suggests a further interesting event in September.
In the exclusive location of Villa Fondi De Sangro in Piano di Sorrento, recurs again in 2013 the season "Meeting of Campania Wines and Flavours".

The event is devoted to the typical products on Campania land and it is organized by the Association Cryteria Project.
It proposes, also for this 4th edition, delicious gastronomic routes together with workshops, meetings and entertainment times.
Particular attention is given to Irpinia area, introducing the main famous Taurasi wineries and making workshops about Fiano and Greco wines.

During the event there will be music and shows, photo exhibitions and films to entertain the visitors; besides it will be presented the book "Verrà cantando il sangue" (It will come singing the blood) by Vittorio de Tufo.
On Saturday September 21st there will be a workshop for kids about the creation of olive oil soapand a meeting for the young with the subject "The Table Civilization among Culture, Traditionds, Formation and new Tendences".

THURSDAY 19TH
at 6.00 p.m. – Opening of the stands and presentation of participating farms and of the guest: Taurasi (AV). Inauguration of the photo exhibitions "Photo Emotions" by Umberto Astarita and "Cuba: Senses and Action"by IHOS.
at 8.00 p.m. – For the cine-season "Sips of Cinema", edited by Arci of Piano di Sorrento and directed by Francesca Paolillo, projecton of the film “Sideways – Travelling with Jack” (USA 2004) by Alexander Payne. FREE ENTRANCE
at 9.00 p.m. – Show cooking “In which mould are you cast”, tasting of fresh and dry pasta, with Cristoforo Trapani, chef of the Restaurant Il Palmento in Piano di Sorrento, presented by the journalist Giacomo Giuliano.
at 9.30 p.m. – Concert by Georges Bizet Guitare Ensemble. FREE ENTRANCE

FRIDAY 20TH
at 6.00 p.m. – Opening of the stands.
at 6.30 p.m. – Tasting with the sommelier Giannantonio Aiuolo, delegate Ais Sorrento Penisula (2 TURNS): combination of wines Feudi of San Gregorio and Terredora with Provolone del Monaco Dop Cheese. The tastings cost EUR 10 and must be reserved writing an e-mail to info@cryteriaproject.com.
at 7.00 p.m. – Presentation of the book "Verrà cantando il sangue" (It will come singing the blood) by Vittorio de Tufo, first appointment with the literary Prize “Sfogliando gli Autori” (leafing through the authors) organized by the Association Agerola Reset. Greeting by the Prof. Giovanni Ruggiero, Major of Piano di Sorrento. Moderator Vincenzo Acampora.
at 8.30 p.m. – Projection of the docufilm “Free man you always will love the sea. Memories of the Sorrento Navy” (IT 2012) by Luigi Scaglione. FREE ENTRANCE
at 9.00 p.m. – Show cooking “In which mould are you cast”, tasting of fresh and dry pasta, with Giuseppe Aversa, chef of the restaurant Il Buco in Sorrento, presented by the journalist Giacomo Giuliano.
at 9.30 p.m. – Eta Beta Progetti d’Autore presents Maria Staiano, Raffaele Cosenza and Mario Vinaccia in “Napoli in…canto antico. Viaggio nella tradizione canora napoletana” (Ancient Song. Tour in the Neaples Sing Tradition). FREE ENTRANCE

SATURDAY 21ST
at 10.00 a.m. – Opening of the stands.
at 10.00 a.m. – Workshop for children about handling of olive oil soaps, with Fabrizia Guida (2 TURNS). The participation is free but it is necessary the reservation writing to info@cryteriaproject.com
at 10.30 a.m. – Meeting with title "The Table Civilization among Culture, Traditionds, Formation and new Tendences", produced by the University of the Mediterranean Cooking and Sorrento Food Innovation. Moderatos Dott.ssa Anna Maione, expert on multimedia comunication of enogastronomy, chairman Dott. Carlo Pepe, official of the Culture, Tourism and performance of Piano di Sorrento. Confirmation at 10.00 a.m..
at 1.30 p.m. – Closing of the stands.
at 6.00 p.m. – Re-opening of the stands.
at 7.00 p.m. – Workshop “Behind the Vineyards: Luigi Sarno and Angelo Muto tell about white Irpinia Wines”. Following presentation of Fiano and Greco Wines of Barone winery and of Dell'Angelo winery, vintage 2010-2011. Free participation but booking required writing to info@cryteriaproject.com
