Deep-sea Towers Regatta

9th Edition of the Deep-Sea Towers Regatta

From June 6th till June 15th 2014 in the Gulf of Naples there will be the 9th edition of the Towers Regatta, organized by the homonym Association together with numerous nautical circles, with the Patronage of the Campania Region and of the National Presidency LNI.

It is a deep-sea regatta in the Gulfs of Naples, Salerno and Policastro, accompanied with numerous tourist and wine-gastronomic events.

More than 40 crews will take part to this competitions, which is one of the competitions of the National Deep-Sea Sail Calendar.

Before the regatta on June 5th there will be the Prologue Naples-Sorrento (preceded by the visit to the Castel dell'Ovo in Naples and to the Underground Naples).

On June 6th there will be the traditional party organized by the LNI of Sorrento in Marina Grande and on Saturday June 7th the departure towards Sapri with the nighttime crossing of the Gulf of Salerno. 
In the Cilento there will be 2 coastal regattas to Scario and Sapri accompanied by other cultural and wine-gastronomic events.

The run back will depart at night from Sapri on June 12th towards Agnone, where another party will be organized by the LNI of Acciaroli and by the Montecorice Common.

On June 14th in the morning there will be the return in the Gulf of Naples, with arrival in Massa Lubrense.

Also for this edition there will be the hospitality in the harbours for the boats which will take part in the competition. Besides there will be again the convention for them with the Sapri Common for discounted rates.

So the program is rich in appointments and it is not only a sport event of international relief, but first of all a way to promote the unmistakable beauties of a territory to discover.
