Following the great success of last year, the Summer Ravello Festival recurs again from June 29th 2013 with a rich placard of events: 70 days of planning, till September 7th 2013, and more than 40 proposed events, without counting the shows and the meetings of word, that enrich an articulated and international offer.
The Belvedere of Villa Rufolo, renewed also in the look and made even more elegant, will serve as frame to the most of the events. In the fascinating Sala dei Cavalieri, in the gardens loved by Wagner, they will find place, instead, the most secluded shows and the chamber-music concerts, whilst the Auditorium Niemeyer will be used in few prominent occasions.
The playbill will be inaugurated by an unpublished symphonic memory work for Lucio Dalla by Joe D'Onghia with the New Orchestra Scarlatti and the Vocal Ensemble of Naples, and it will range over from the symphonic music to the chamber one, from the jazz to the pop one, from the dance to the theater till the visual arts.

The leitmotiv of the 2013 edition is the "Tomorrow" of so many epochs, through the intellectuals that were considered in their time 'subversive' and it will be introduced therefore music and proposals innovative in comparison with the epoch of production, but also youth international orchestras and piano contests winners.
Particular attention will be devoted to the anniversaries of this 2013, starting from the bicentennial of Wagner, to continue with that of Verdi, without forgetting Gesualdo, Britten, D'Annunzio, Nureyev. For the seven hundred years of Boccaccio, the Festival will make room instead during the autumn planning.
